This is the true story of Megan Johnson, a twenty-something writer in Boston. As a child, her parents cut her hair short, which led to her being mistaken for a boy at the grocery store. She was told to "Move along, Son." She was also left on the school bus once. She is New England's premier Saved by the Bell scholar. She used to write about celebrities at a Boston newspaper. Now you can read her stuff in a bunch of different joints. Her life consists of falling in public, hugging dogs, and watching youtube videos of bad 80's sitcoms. And no, she doesn't live in Beacon Hill anymore, but Down and Out in the North End doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
